Vietnam National University and Thailand’s Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in business administration (BA) training. Under the MoU, students from the Vietnamese school will be able to study at the AIT’s School of Management for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, the Voice of Vietnam Radio said June 15, adding that first 35 students will leave for the AIT in August. The agreement is in line with the vision of cooperation mapped out for the Asian region, especially among ASEAN’s member countries, Phung Xuan Nha from the Vietnamese side said, noting that the schools will continue boosting their relations through specific programs. Vietnam is the AIT’s most important partner and the first choice when it expands operations, said Said Irandouts, the institute director, adding that AIT will consider opening a training center in the Southeast Asian country.
