Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung presented 30 laptops as gift for six boarding schools for ethnic minorities at a ceremony in Hanoi on March 12. Four of the six beneficiaries came from northern provinces, one from the central region and one from the south. Deputy Rector of the Lao Cai boarding school Tran Xuan Mai expressed thanks to the Prime Minister for his gifts, saying they will contribute to improving the IT skills of both ethnic minority students and their teachers. The Prime Minister received the laptops as gifts from the Zhuang ethnic minority group in China’s Guangxi province.
