Vietnam’s central province of Phu Yen has started the construction of a reservoir worth VND101 billion from g-bond, for ethnic minority people in Dong Xuan district, the Nong Thon Ngay Nay newspaper reported July 6. The reservoir of 4.5 cubic meters of water, is expected to feed 400 hectares of paddies and crops for 4,000 local households, especially for the ethnic minorities in the area. The facility is slated for completion in 2012.
