Vietnam’s southern province of Phu Tho has created jobs for 19,500 locals so far this year, including thousands of ethnic minorities and poor people. Of the total, 2,500 workers have been sent abroad during the period, the Nhan Dan newspaper reported Nov 12. The province reduces the rate of poor households to 10% in 2010 from 13.2% in 2009.
