Chemonics International, a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks qualified Vietnamese national and expatriate candidates for the anticipated Support for Trade Acceleration (STAR) Plus project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Vietnam.
This program will support the Government of Vietnam’s efforts to continue implementation of high-level trade and investment reforms, including changes in economic governance and macroeconomic areas, and assist Vietnam with its integration into the global economy.
Positions
1. Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
- Identify appropriate performance indicators for tracking results and monitoring critical assumptions and/or preparing comprehensive performance monitoring plans
- Work with technical teams to define the quality of outcome/impact evidence that will be needed from their programs/projects;
Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in a development-relevant field or research. A Master’s degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in monitoring and evaluation research is desirable
- A minimum of three years of functioning in M&E exercises for an international organization or NGO

2. Communications Specialist
- Develop communication tools for targeted audiences to include brochures, flyers, posters, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters and websites
- Familiar with issues related to global economic integration (i.e. market access, investment regimes and safeguards, intellectual property rights, transparency measures)
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree required, Masters degree a plus
- Experience working with USG agencies
- Fluency in English - written and oral
