Kien Giang province plans to spend VND133.5 billion ($7.2 million) to support ethnic minorities people this year. The funding will be used to provide housing land to 914 families and farming land to 4,132 others and funds to buy production equipment to 3,005 families and train 501 workers. Last year, the province spent VND17.48 billion to give land to 1,074 households and train 500 workers.
