The southern province of Kien Giang has invested more than VND600 million ($31,400) into a project to provide clean water for poor people in salt-marsh regions in dry seasons. The project will benefit 3,800 families with 19,000 people living in coastal and riverside areas in Go Cong Dong and Tan Phu Dong districts. These are families that live far from water stations and often face a shortage of water in dry seasons.
