Authorities of Vietnam’s southern province of Ben Tre have built 1,960 houses for the poor as of early this month, meeting 40% of its full-year target. Of the total, up to 998 houses have been handed over to locals, the Nhan Dan newspaper reported Nov 10. (Nhan Dan – The People Nov 10 p7)
