Hoang Ngoc Duong deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of the northern province of Bac Kan said Jan. 28 that all poor families in Ba Be and Pac Nam districts have new houses to welcome the lunar New Year festival. Inadequate houses of 748 beneficiary and poor families have been rebuilt with a capital of VND16.3 billion from the State budget, the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group, the Bao Viet Group and the Bank for Social Policies. Each new house is in about 30 square meters.
