A 750-kg bomb was discovered in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue’s Huong Tra district July 8. Earlier, authorities of the central province of Quang Binh June 29 deactivated a 980-kg bomb successfully at Kim Thuy commune June 29. Vietnam needs more than $10 billion to clear up bombs and mines in next 300 years, said a representative of the Technology Center for Bomb and Mine Disposal (BOMICEN).
