History of operations in Vietnam
Heifer started to operate in Vietnam in 1987 and opened the office in 2003 in Can tho City. Until now Heifer Viet Nam has supported over 9,700 families to escape poverty. Heifer Viet Nam has implemented projects in 27 provinces from the north to the south. Heifer targets disadvantaged communities to empower them and support them to build up their own cohensive communities.
