Child Participation Desk Review Consultant
The overall objective of the consultancy will be to support the Viet Nam National Assembly, particularly the Committee on Culture, Education, Youth
and Children, to explore international experience and best practice on child participation, and based on that to propose a mechanism for child
participation in the work of Elected Organs (National Assembly and People’s Councils at provincial level) that is relevant to Viet Nam’s context and
conditions.
The consultant should have:
- Advanced academic degree in law/ human rights;
- Excellent knowledge of and experience with child participation in the work of Elected Organs in the international context;
- Strong record of publications on the issue of child participation;
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of child rights/ human rights;
- Good analytical skills and research capacity;
- Experience with working in Viet Nam and knowledge of the HRs/Child rights situation in Viet Nam are an asset;
- Excellent writing skills in English.
