Women Veterans Gather
More than 50 women veterans have gathered at a meeting held on April 21st by the Krong Buk District’s Military Command in the central Highlands Province of Dak Lak. During the resistance war against American invaders, these women, including some ethnic minority people, fought together, overcame difficulties, and made great contributions to the cause of national defence. In the peace time, they took part in developing economics of their families and their hometowns to contribute to the renewal process of the country. The meeting was an opportunity to promote the tradition of Vietnamese women, and to celebrate the 36th Anniversary of the Reunification Day (April 30th). (qdnd.vn Apr 22)
