VOV to Install Cameras at Major Vietnam Hospitals

The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) will install modern camera systems at 12 hospitals in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as part of an agreement signed with the Ministry of Health on Oct 23 to help improve the quality of admin reform and healthcare services. The cameras will help hospitals supervise check-ups and treatments, the Vietnam News Agency said. The ministry and VOV will also produce a radio news channel focusing on healthcare activities. The news channel will inform listeners about the health ministry’s activities and healthcare activities observed via the surveillance systems, in addition to spotlighting good doctors. A dialogue between listeners and health officials about major issues of public concern will be broadcast live on VOV’s FM 91Mhz every Saturday. (VietnamPlus Oct 24)
