Vietnamese Poor Children Receive 1,000 Tet Gifts

Bao Viet Insurance Co, Ltd has coordinated with the Vietnam Children’s Fund to present 1,000 gifts worth a total of VND200 million to poor children in 17 provinces on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year festival. The provinces include Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Long An, Can Tho, and Ca Mau. This is the sixth year the company has worked with the Vietnam Children’s Fund to grant gifts to poor children. These activities were in response to the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s call for relevant agencies and individuals to support poor and disadvantaged children during the Tet holiday. Over the past few years, the company has also carried out annual programs to present 1,000 gifts to teenagers, 1,000 to poor children and 1,000 scholarships to disabled children and those who excel in their studies.
