Vietnam, U.S. Strengthen Ties in Developing High-Tech Human Resources

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc and representatives of Intel Corporation, a U.S. multinational corporation and technology company, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation in developing high-tech human resources, state media reported.

The signing was witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the sidelines of his trip to the U.S. last week.

Per the deal, both sides agree to support the development of a sustainable education system by expanding digital readiness and access to smart classroom solutions for school administrators, teachers, and students.

They will drive initiatives to empower students with the skill sets, mindsets, tool sets, and opportunities to use technology effectively and responsibly.

Besides, the two units will support the creation and building of ecosystems to develop partnerships for large-scale and sustainable programs that promote new training programs for the workforce using advanced technologies. (Giao Duc Thoi Dai, MoET)
