Vietnam Tourist Sites Warned of Food Poisoning Risks

The Quang Nam Department of Health has warned that popular tourist sites like Hoi An Town and My Son Sanctuary face food poisoning risks. It urged authorities at the sites and other local authorities to step up inspection of food hygiene and safety at food shops, restaurants and hotels. Hundreds of people have suffered from food poisoning this year in several tourist sites in Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa provinces in the north and Da Lat in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong.
