Vietnam Partakes in Early Childhood Education Conference in Mexico

A Vietnamese delegation led by Le Linh Lan, Ambassador to Mexico, attended an international conference on early childhood education held in Monterrey, Mexico, on October 15-18. The conference, themed “the development of young children, and neurological science, and pedagogy arts,” drew in more than 1,500 representatives from 27 countries and 32 states of the host country, proving participants with professional training at the kindergarten level. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Lan stressed the need to focus on kindergarten education as this lays the groundwork for the development of physical strength, mental ability, emotions and aesthetic senses of children. He noted the state’s responsibility in ensuring the education quality as well as the importance of close coordination between families, schools, and societies. On the sidelines of the conference, the ambassador and his entourage also met with many Mexican representatives and experts in the field. The delegation was received Senator Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, secretary general of the Mexican Workers’ Party and also member of the Education Committee of the Mexican Senate; and María Guadalupe Rodríguez, director general of Centers of Childhood Development (CENDI) of the “Frente Popular Tierra y Libertad,” organizer of the event.
