Vietnam MoLISA, Germany GIZ Sign Agreement on Vocational Training
Vietnam’s Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Germany’s Cooperation Development Organization (Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit -GIZ) on Oct 8 signed an agreement on implementation of a project Center for high-quality vocational training- Lilama 2, state media reported. The project is part of the cooperation program between the two countries titled “Vietnam Vocational Training Innovation” funded by Germany’s Ministry of Economy and Development (BMZ), the Quan Doi Nhan Dan newspaper reported. It aims to support Lilama 2 College to turn into one of the leading vocational training facilities in Vietnam. Mr. Jochem Lange, director of the GIZ said the project, will help raise capacity of the college’s teachers and managers and offer Germany-standard pilot training programs in industrial mechanics, electronics, and industrial electronics.
