Vietnam Keen to Forge Education Linkages with Switzerland: Deputy Minister
Vietnam wishes to promote education and training linkages with Switzerland, especially in the fields of the latter’s strengths, such as tourism and high technology, said Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son.
Both sides should promote lecturer exchange, scientific research, and innovation, Mr. Son added while receiving Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam Thomas Gass in Hanoi on September 28.
For his part, Ambassador Thomas Gass expressed his impression of Vietnam’s education and training development in general, and the field of higher education in particular.
He also pledged to continue to bolster the education ties between Switzerland and Vietnam in some majors, such as quality management of higher education, scholarships, and exchange programs in universities.
