Vietnam Helps Fight Global Poverty
As members of the United Nations Commission for Social Development, Vietnam, Nepal and Bangladesh raised their voices at the 50th session on hunger eradication and poverty reduction. The three nations will have a chance to contribute to mapping out policies to promote social development during a four-year working term starting this year. Vietnam will also share information on the building of social development policies at national levels. This year's session is being held from February 1 to 10 in New York. (Vietnam News Feb 4)
