Vietnam Edu Ministry Works with U.S.’ Educational Testing Service

Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son received a delegation of the U.S.-based Educational Testing Service (ETS), led by its Vice President Rohit Sharma, in Hanoi on August 7, state media reported.

At the talks, Minister Son suggested enhancing the cooperation with the ETS in the scientific development of examination and evaluation, and human resource development in this field.

He also proposed the ETS send experts to Vietnam to share their experiences in testing, question bank development, and technology applications in organizing large-scale exams.

Last September, Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) and the ETS signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to improve the testing capacity for Vietnam’s education sector, especially for national exams. (Giao Duc Thoi Dai, MoET)
