Vietnam Business Grants $50,000 to Primary School Project in Laos

Long Thanh-Vientiane Golf Investment and Business Joint Stock Company has given $50,000 to Sayaburi province of Laos for building a primary school in Saysathan district. The company’s Deputy General Director Le Huy Hoang handed over the cash to the Lao province at a ceremony on May 21. Sayaburi Governor Lien Thikeo said the donation was significant as Saysathan district, which was set up for two years, has poor conditions for education and many residents are illiterate. Lien Thikeo called on Vietnamese investors to boost investment in Sayaburi, especially in agriculture, and pledged to create favorable conditions for them. (www.en.vietnamplus.vn May 21)
