Vietinbank Completes Charitable Projects for Needy People in Ha Tinh

The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam (Vietinbank) on September 9th officially handed over to Ha Tinh province several charitable projects, including communal house and rural road projects in Duc Dong commune in Duc Tho district, Primary School II in My Loc commune in Can Loc district and 118 houses of gratitude. These projects would effectively help needy people and policy beneficiaries in Ha Tinh province overcome challenges and difficulties in working for better lives, as well as produce a safe place for them in rainy and stormy season. Over the last years, VietinBank granted around VND 20 billion for welfare activities in Ha Tinh province, provided ambulances to Ky Anh district Hospital and built an infirmary in Son Phuc commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province. So far, VietinBank helped build 24,000 houses, 800 bridges, 360 kindergartens and primary schools and 40 communal houses nationwide. In addition, the Bank also had many activities to pay gratitude to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and to promote the tradition “When drinking water, remember who dug the well”.
