U.S Aligent to Provide Technical Solutions to Vietnam Petrochemical Industry

Agilent Technologies Inc., a world’s leading measurement company from the U.S., has pledged to provide Vietnam with technical solutions to help the country develop its petrochemical industry. Agilent Vietnam’s National Director Gordon Tai made the commitment on the sideline of a forum on measures for energy and fuel fields took place in Ho Chi Minh City on April 19. Agilent’s product of Breakthrough Capillary Flow Technology can help clients raise the effective of analyzing to process high-quality petrochemical products. Agilent with a 40-year experience in measuring and verifying currently has provided clients worldwide with communication, electronic and chemistry technologies. Vietnam, the world’s 13th populous nation with 86.5 million people, has only one oil refinery in the central province of Quang Ngai. The country plans to put into operation between five and six oil refineries with a combined refining capacity of 30 million tons of crude oil a year by 2015 to meet rising domestic demand for petroleum products.
