UK Firms Seek to Invest in Vietnam Education

The UK Trade and Investment has brought several education firms to Vietnam on May 13-15 explore cooperation opportunities with the local universities and colleges, the Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper reported on May 15. The delegation known as The Training Gateway will meet with university officials in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to introduce their teaching programs including those with certifications and training programs for teachers from primary school to undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, the UK firms will also introduce specialized programs such as English training, global cultural awareness program and several other cooperative education models.
