UAE Red Crescent Builds Houses for Poor People in Vietnam

The UAE embassy in Vietnam has started a project for building ten houses for the poor and needy in the capital city of Hanoi. The charity is funded by the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) of the UAE and is implemented in association with the Islamic Society in Ho Chi Minh City. The embassy is also supervising the digging of a total of 23 water wells financed by the Dar-al-Birr Society of Dubai. Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed Ali Al Mualla paid a visit to the southern Vietnam to have a first hand knowledge about the conditions of the destitute Muslims in the rural areas. (dtinews.vn Nov 22)
