Tra Vinh's Poor To Get New Toilets
The Community Hygiene Output-Based Aid (CHOBA) project was launched on Monday by East Meets West Foundation and the Viet Nam Women's Union in the Mekong Delta Province of Tra Vinh. The project costs VND11.5 billion ($547,619) and will last until 2015. With financial assistance from the project, toilets will be built for 13,800 poor households in 19 communes whose residents are mostly Khmer. (Vietnam News Aug 22)
