Taiwanese Businesses Support AO Victims

The Taiwanese business community in Vietnam has offered VND820 million to Vietnam News Agency fund for Agent Orange victims. The amount, contributed by 230 Taiwanese businessmen who played in a charity golf tournament in Ho Chi Minh City’s Thu Duc course, will be used to build 27 houses for families of the victims. The houses will be built in the city’s Cu Chi district and the southern provinces of Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Long An and Kien Giang. (vovnews.vn Oct 14)
