Swimming Lessons Protect Children

The Ministry of Education and Training has asked schools to introduce swimming lessons to prevent students from drowning. The ministry said swimming lessons should be included in the school curriculum and extracurricular swimming training should be provided. The ministry called for outside organizations to join the campaign. Around 40 people, most of them students, have died in drowning accidents across the country since early last month.
