Six Hospitalized on Mushroom Poisoning Suspicion

Six people from the same family in Vietnam’s central province of Quang Binh on Wednesday were hospitalized in critical condition after eating unknown mushrooms alleged to be poisonous. The victims, between 13 and 55 years old, were admitted to Tuyen Hoa District’s Hospital with the same symptoms like headaches, dizziness and respiratory difficulties. After receiving treatment, they are recovering. According to their family, they all developed the symptoms around 30 minutes after eating mushrooms collected from piles of straw in their house and in the field.
