Over VND54B to Support Poor People in Tay Ninh Province

The People's Committee of the Central Highlands province of Tay Ninh has decided to spend more than VND54 billion to support policy beneficiary families, the elderly, workers, civil servants and poor and near the poverty line households, during the coming Lunar New Year. The provincial People’s Committee is expected to present 140 Tet gifts worth VND1 million each to typical policy beneficiary families and the elderly.The policy beneficiaries, officers and civil servants will be provided with VND500,000 per person, while poor and near the poverty line households will receive VND100,000 per person.In addition, the social organizations in the province also plan to mobilize financial support to care for the poor, children in difficult circumstances and ethnic minorities.
