Over VND 8.4 billion, including VND 4.8 billion from the State budget, will be spent to enhance the efficiency in agricultural production for poor households and ethnic minority groups in Dak Ha District, Kon Tum Province. Nguyen Hoai Vu, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Dak Ha District, said that the District is examining cultivated land in order to grow new crops of rubber and other suitable trees. This adjustment in planting will help local people bring land into cultivation and increase their income. Accordingly, crops with high productivity will be grown on nearly 850 hectares of cultivated land this year. Poor households will receive seeds at half-price, while poor households from ethnic minority groups in communes of Ngoc Wang, Dak La, Dak Mar, Ha Mon and Dak Ha Town will receive free seeds.
