Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 - 31 August 2012.

Institute of International Education (IIE) would like to announce that Mr. James Warren has been appointed Regional Director of IIE Southeast Asia. His email address for contact: [email protected]. Ms. Trinh Mai Oanh will continue her position as Country Coordinator for IIE Vietnam office.

There are five Working Groups' meetings scheduled for the second half of August 2012:

  • Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Working Group on 16 August at 2:00 PM;
  • Child Rights Working Group on 21 August at 2:00 PM
  • Capacity Development Working Group on 22 August at 2:00 PM
  • HCM INGO Discussion Group on 24 August at 9:00 AM
  • Disaster Management Working Group on 24 August at 2:00 PM

The HCM INGO Discussion Group meeting will be held at HUFO office, 31 Le Duan, District 1, HCM City. Other meetings will take place at the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre in Hanoi. Please check the 'Calendar of Events' section on our home page for the latest updates and possible changes.
