More Help for Needy Students In New School Year

With the recent opening of the new academic year, Vedan Vietnam Company, in association with the Study Encouragement Society of Long Thanh District and Dong Nai provincial Red Cross Society, held a ceremony to present VND300 million to needy students with good academic results in the 2011-2012 school year. This meaningful and timely assistance enabled needy students to continue with their studies and be more confident to start a new school year of 2012-2013. Similarly, the Petro Vietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) just handed over VND 460 million to Nguyen An Ninh Secondary School in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to help the school upgrade 41 computers used for teaching and studying. On September 5th, the Southwest Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company presented 400 uniforms to kindergarten and primary school students in Giang Thanh district, Kien Giang province.
