Ministries of Vietnam, Singapore Sign MoU to Promote Education Cooperation

Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and his Singaporean counterpart Chan Chun Sing have sealed a memorandum of standing (MoU) to bolster education cooperation, state media reported.

The pact was inked under the witness of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong, who is on the Vietnam trip, in Hanoi on August 28.

Per the MoU, both countries will strengthen cooperation between their schools within the framework of the School Twinning Exchange Program and other educational organization links to encourage the exchange of students and teachers.

Vietnam and Singapore will also create conditions for students to participate in internship programs; enhance information and experience exchange in mutual interests, especially in developing professions for teachers; and provide more scholarships for students.
