Meeting Reviews Party and State Policies on Khmer Ethnic Minority

The Party and State always pay great attention to Khmer ethnic people and Therevada Khmer Buddhism with many policies on economic, educational and healthcare development, while preserving and promoting their cultural identity. This remark was made at a meeting held by the Southwest Region Steering Committee and the Soc Trang provincial Party Committee on May 30 to inform 450 representatives of Khmer Therevada Buddhist pagoda executive boards in the province about Party and State policies on religion and the region’s socio-economic development in the past. At the meeting, the Therevada Buddhist monks thanked the Party and State for implementing programs and projects that have helped improve the living conditions of Khmer people.
