Japanese Group Donates 600,000 Yen to Vietnamese Students

The Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has received a donation of 600,000 from Japan’s Yasuhara group. At the receiving ceremony, Mr. Fukuda, representative from the group said that some other businesses in Osaka city also want to provide support to the Fund to improve the relationship between Vietnam and Japan. According to Mr. Vu Quang Vinh, Director of the Fund, 1,421 scholarships were presented to poor ethnic students during the last year. The Fund also provided fees for more than 140 students from remote areas so that they will return to work for their hometowns after graduation.
