The Japanese government provided a total of $32.47 million in non-refundable loan for 434 development projects in Vietnam since its resume providing ODA for the Southeast Asian nation to end-2011. In the fiscal year 2011, the Japanese government granted $2.45 million to 25 projects in Vietnam. These projects focus on education, health, transport, agro-fishery and environment. Up to 90% of the funding went to education and health, the Thoi Bao Ngan Hang newspaper reported.
