Italy Funds Water-For-The-Poor Program

More underprivileged Vietnamese will be given better access to clean water via a new 2.4 million EUR program funded by Italy.An agreement on the funding was signed between Deputy Minister of Finance Truong Chi Trung and Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Lorenzo Angeloni in Hanoi on Nov 15, the Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) daily reported on November 16.The daily says this is the follow-up of a program which benefited 150,000 poor people in its first phase.
