Ho Chi Minh City Holds Charity Walk for AO Victims

On August 4, The Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross said that a charity walk will be held on August 7 to raise funds for Agent Orange victims and poor people with disabilities. According to the Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, Nguyen Thi Hue, the program aims to commemorate the 50th year of the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam, introduce outstanding inspirational AO victims, and mobilize funds to care for and assist AO victims. Ms Hue said that last month the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross gave 149 assistance packages to pay for education in AO victims’ families. (cpv.org.vn Aug 6)
