Hau Giang Province Builds another 2,000 Houses for The Poor

The southern province of Hau Giang has completed the building of over 2,000 houses for the poor as a result of the Prime Minister’s decision to support housing for the poor. The houses built account for 99% of the housing demand. However, the distribution of the capital is still limited at only VND25 billion compared to the planned amount of VND43.5 billion. In the second phase of 2011, 731 houses will be built for the poor with an investment of VND15.2 billion. (cpv.org.vn Nov 03)
