Gia Lai Unearths Huge Amount of Bombs and Mines

Sappers of the Gia Lai Province’s Military Command have recently defused 1.6 tons of bombs and mines. These unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found 1m underground while construction workers were digging the foundation for a house at Princess Huyen Tran Street, Phu Dong Precinct, Pleiku City. Upon being informed of the news, the Pleiku City Command worked jointly with the Province Command to collect the UXOs, including a napalm bomb, 81-105mm shells and 200 grenade detonators.
