Germany Opens Training Course for Vietnamese Nurses in Hanoi
Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Germany Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Germany Federation Labor Agency (BA) in collaboration with the German Federal Employment Agency (ZAV) on Sept 15 launched the second training course for Vietnamese nurse which are candidates for elder caretakers in the European country. The course will teach 125 Vietnamese nurses in German until July 2015 and if they will pass the language test, they will be sent to Germany for professional training course next summer. After graduating the professional training course, Vietnamese nurses can take jobs to take care for elder people in Germany. The German training courses are supported by Vietnam’s Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and its Department of Overseas Labor (DoLAB). Private agencies will organize similar courses from 2015. Vietnam is sending hundreds of thousands of workers, including nurses in foreign countries, including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the U.S., Russia and African countries.
