Free Cataract Surgery for 180 Poor Patients

A group of doctors from Hanoi and HCM City recently performed free cataract surgeries on 180 poor patients in southernmost Ca Mau Province. The cost of the surgeries was VND700 million ($33,333). More than 4,700 people in Ca Mau received cataract surgery in the last three years. (Vietnam News May 15)
