Ethnic Co-Ops Attract $1.8M Investment

Central Highlands Dak Lak Province will invest through 2015 more than VND37.6 billion ($1.8 million) to develop a system of co-operatives, with emphasis on rural and mountainous districts. Four-hundred co-operatives will be set up. The province continues to provide capital and land as well as equipment for co-operatives in areas where ethnic minorities live. (Vietnam News Oct 16)
