Dioxin Victims Supported by OVs in Morocco
On the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the Vietnam Embassy in Morocco in the capital of Rabat made generous donations to support Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in Vietnam. All staff of the Embassy and a large number of Overseas Vietnamese in Morocco actively participated in the campaign and raised a total of $1,350. The amount has been handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Embassy to be donated to the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Vietnam. On behalf of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in Vietnam, Ambassador Cao Xuan Than expressed his thanks and praised Overseas Vietnamese people in Morocco for always taking an interest in and being actively involved in humanitarian activities. The Ambassador said that while this amount is not large, it is a practical contribution to share the difficulties and appease the pain that victims are suffering daily and to help them integrate into the community.
