Detoxification House Inaugurated for AO Victims in Central Highlands Province

The Association of Victims of Agent Orange in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai has recently inaugurated a house of steaming and detoxification for Agent Orange victims. The 4-room house, including 1 for medicine and 2 for steaming and detoxification, aims to increase the healthcare for the victims. Since the inauguration of the house, the first phase of the treatment has been carried out. Twenty victims are undergoing a 21-day treatment period. Accordingly, each day, they spend 30 minutes going jogging, 3.5 hours on the detoxification process at 80 degree Celsius or more, and drank vitamins and minerals. The process will help to remove toxins in the victims’ bodies, thus gradually improving their health. So far, Gia Lai province is the 4th locality and the 5th centre in the country implementing the process.
