Bomb Defused in Central Vietnam

A 230kg wartime bomb was successfully defused by the provincial Military Command after it was found on Thursday in Vinh City's Hung Hoa Commune in the north central province of Nghe An. The 1.7 meter bomb, identified as a US-made device, was found buried two meters underground. Last month, two bombs weighing 150 kilos and 230 kilos were also discovered in the city.
