Ben Tre Province Builds 11,000 Houses for Poor People in 3 Years

Authorities in Vietnam’s southern province of Ben Tre have built 11,371 houses for the poor over the past three years with a total investment of VND245.9 billion. Among those, 80% are 32-sq.m houses and 5% are 62-sq.m houses, the Nhan Dan online newspaper reported. In 2011, the province constructed and put into operation 3,326 houses among total 4,000 as scheduled. (Nhan Dan – The People May 14)
